Fundraising

Elizabeth City Habitat for Humanity builds simple, affordable housing for qualified low-income buyers in Pasquotank County. Our buyers are required to complete at least 300 hours of sweat equity on their homes and complete homebuyer education classes which include credit counseling, first time homebuyer and budgeting sessions.

We receive many generous donations for materials but it still costs at least $120,000 to construct a new house, and those costs are rising. To defray our expenses we hold various fundraising events in the area. Check this spot to see what events are currently scheduled.
