In accordance with Elizabeth City Habitat for Humanity’s duty to provide and maintain a workplace and build sites that are free of known hazards, we are adopting this policy. This policy complies with all applicable laws and is based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, the Pasquotank County Health Department, and all applicable state and local health orders.

 

Beginning January 1, 2022, all volunteers in our store and on building sites must be fully vaccinated unless a reasonable accommodation is approved.

Mask policy:

​All employees and volunteers must continue to follow Elizabeth City Habitat for Humanity’s previously approved mask policy. This policy states that employees and volunteers must wear a mask at all times while in the store showroom. When in the warehouse, employees may remove it as long as they can maintain 6’ between them and customers.
